Kennedy Grace Creations Vintage Tea card for Mother's Day

I am delighted to be a designer for Kennedy Grace Creations and am here today for a card I made with the Vintage Tea Cup stamp set. I just love using this set! It is so fun to decide what colors I am going to make the china!! This was to match with the papers from Graphic 45 that include tea images so went with the blues and pinks. Can you image if you could just find sky blue china to have coffee or tea in?! That would be wonderful!!
I have only one mother left, my mother-in-law. She loves to have her coffee and tea, so that is what I thought about when I made this card for her. My husband loved how it turned out, as well. Hope it delights you as much as it did us.
Directions: Layering the card front with Medium Blue vellum, and the Graphic 45 Botanical tea pattern papers so that the blue peaked out on either side. Stamped and die cut all images and then fussy cut them all out. I always use my MISTI now and do multiple images to have ahead!! ;)  Then I matched my Copic marker colors with that of the Botanical Tea's. Using the dual colors of each, I shaded to have it look like the light was from above. I die cut the doily out of sparkle vellum and glued it and the tea pot down to the top papers. I added pop squares behind the tea cup, and placed it adjacent to the pot. Added the other die cut and bow to add balance to the bottom.
Supplies: Kennedy Grace Creations Vintage Tea Cup stamp set; X-cut Vintage heart doily; Copic Markers: B95, B21, RV21, RV02. Sparkle vellum; Medium Blue vellum; Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Sweet Chamomile; Die cut "Mom" from my stash;  Memento Tuxedo black ink pad; Neenah Bright White cardstock; MISTI; Fiskars scissors.

  1. That peach bow is gorgeous! FYI...I had a hard time getting to this post as I kept receiving an error message when I clicked on your link. Not sure what that was all about, but I thought I'd let you know. Thank you so much for sharing with us at the Really Reasonable Ribbon "Put a Bow on It" Challenge!
